In our Manners Workshops children learn the basics of good social skills through interactive games, role-playing, and a mini-excursion to a restaurant in our center. Kids will learn the importance of positive behavior, body language, a good handshake, proper introductions, patience, and making friends. Attendees will practice setting a proper table and table etiquette. The workshop includes a dinner party excursion where children put their out-and-about skills to use.
June 22 Manners Matter 1-2:30 Ages 8 & older
Table setting, napkin folding, polite table conversation, meeting/ reeting adults and more! Kids will practice their table manners in one of our neighboring restaurants.
August 17 –Macaroni & Please 1-2:30 Ages 5 -7 years
Kids will practice their table manners after making homemade pizzas, fruit wands and chocolate mousse. We’ll focus on table manners at home and in restaurants, polite dinner conversations and being a good dinner guest.
