Birthday Parties
- What decorations does Foodie Kids provide?
Our party room will include a decorated chalkboard personalized for the birthday child. The entire store in decorated pretty much 24/7 for whatever season/holiday it is but we do not have theme specific decorations (like unicorn or Batman.) You are welcome to bring any other decor to make the room your own.
- Where will the guests’ parents be while the party is going on?
So the attendees can fully enjoy the party, we ask that all guest parents either drop their child off or hang out in our retail area in the front. The parent party room can be rented out for the duration of the party if you’re planning for all the parents to stay as well. (1 hour-$100/1.5 hours-$125/ 2 hours-$150) Food for the parents can be purchased from our parent party room menu as well!
- Can we bring outside food/drink for the guests’ parents?
If you rent out the parent party room you can bring any outside food/drink you want (even alcohol)!
- Do we need to bring anything (silverware/candles/cups/etc.) to the party?
No! Foodie Kids will provide absolutely everything to make your child’s birthday perfect! If you have special candles/plates/napkins you want to use, you are welcome to bring those though.
Camps & Classes
- What should campers/students wear?
Wear something that can get a little messy. We provide aprons for campers to wear, but accidents will happen in the kitchen! - What should campers/students bring?
All cooking supplies are provided for camp. A reusable water bottle is all campers need to bring from home. - Can accommodations be made for children with food allergies/dietary restrictions? Please call Foodie Kids at 512-346-3333 or email us at getcooking@foodie-kids.com to ask about specific allergies/restrictions. It depends greatly on the class or camp you are interested in and the specific food if we can comfortably accommodate it. Foodie Kids will never be a gluten free or nut free facility even if we eliminate ingredients completely from a set of recipes. Thank you!
Cancellations/Reschedules
- If I can’t attend something I signed up for (camp, class, workshop) do I get a refund?
Refunds can only be issued if the event is 2+ weeks away to ensure the spot can be filled again. Thank you for your understanding and support of our small business! - For birthday parties, the deposit can be transferred to any other available date and time if transferred 2+ weeks in advance. If less than 2 weeks, half of the amount of the party price will be charged.
